Little red stuga is a design studio, working with design and development of play product's and spaces for Children. We create design with an educational focus, on the child's terms and without trying to control the game. We develop products for clients, for example Lekolar (Brio Lekolär). We also have our own range, that we produce and sell, among other things the knitted mountain pouf Kebnekaise and Bu the blankie that doubles as a peekaboo sheet.
Kasper and Ulrika are the founders and began to cooperate during the design program at HDK in Gothenburg in 2007. Over the years more people have gathered around our ideas and activities so today we are a tight team of people who work both operationally and with development.
Our involvement and interest in inspiring play environments has now taken us here. You could say that Big Play is the heart of Little Red Stuga and that it now has taken the format of a blog. It took us a while to realize that we must find a place, a forum where we can gather what inspires us, challenges and develop us, and open up for dialogue. We also hope that this will be a place where you can follow our work, be inspired, find interesting links and gain knowledge on topics related to children, objects and space.
